Nauti Mermaid

Who doesn’t love a play on the word Nautical? This place was the opposite of naughty. The vibes brought me back to the real deal crab houses in Maryland. In college, my friends and I would venture out of College Park for some real civilization (i.e crab houses). Nauti Mermaid in Old City was just that with a little twist. There was a wonderful piano man setting the stage and the owner also owns Jolly’s dueling Piano bar upstairs. If you like to work for your food, the crabs were delicious. However, I prefer to stick to the food that’s ready to be devoured. We really loved the fried oysters (not pictured) , crab cakes and fries. We would definitely recommend this place, but give them some time to improve their service all around before making a reservation.
