David Burke Tavern

When we think of David Burke, we immediately think “YES PLEASE”. However, the David Burke Tavern didn’t exactly have that effect on us. The restaurant and the food were both classy AF, but a little too classy. What we mean is that the fancy brunch food simply just wasn’t as good as it sounded. I didn’t exactly want my eggs scrambled with shellfish in an ostrich egg? Ya know what I’m saying? The chicken on the Chicken and Waffles dish was delicious, but it came with corn and peas and no maple syrup. Once we got the syrup, we did really enjoy the chicken and waffles! They also had some cool looking bacon hanging on clothespins that we definitely missed out on. Additionally, the service and drinks were excellent! If you’re into that fancy thing- this is the brunch for you.
