A Guide To Philly Pizza

10 of our favorite pizza spots (in no particular order)

  1. Wm. Mulherin's Sons: Italian neighborhood spot with a seasonal changing menu focused on wood-fire cooking and pizzas. We really enjoyed the pizza.

  2. Pizzeria Vetri: Brick oven, thin crust pizza with great drinks and cozy setting.

  3. Tacconelli's Pizza: This family owned spot makes almost everything from scratch!

  4. Bufad: This is a casual BYOB with wood-oven pizza, salad and small plates! We loved the specialty pies and the meatballs were also delicious.

  5. Rione: Casual spot with pizza served Roman-style by the cut with salads.

  6. Nomad Pizza: Rustic experience with wood-fired pizza and amazing craft-brews!

  7. Pietro's: We feasted on the cauliflower pizza, pesto pizza and special of the week (eggplant balls).

  8. Ungle Oogies: Home-y restaurant feel with South Philadelphian influences with great pizza (and gluten free options)! Their style pizza has bread, then cheese in the middle, and sauce on top.

  9. Santucci's: Family owned spot known for their homemade tomato basil sauce. Their south Philly style pizza has bread, then cheese, and sauce on the top. They also have an amazing lunch special for $7.00, you get a soup, half a sandwich and a soda.

  10. & Pizza: This modern spot has you order on their app (whether you’re sitting in or taking out). The pizza’s are personal and they have an awesome variety of toppings. I suggest you share a few different pizzas!
